Dr. Bhandarkar performed my sinus surgery and took care of me as if I were his own family. He is undoubtedly the best of the best in sinus and skull base surgery with extensive knowledge and experience. So my wife had some serious problem with nose. I looked up in Aetna's ENT expert directory and found Dr. Naveen. When the time came for the appointment a couple of weeks later, my wife didn't have much symptom any more. But we still want to see the doctor and hoping getting some advice. My wife came back saying no much advice from the Dr. because no serious symptom at that time, she was in and out of the office for 15 minutes. Then came the two bills. Doctor's bill is around 350 after insurance, and a facility bill (marked as office consultation) about 130 after insurance. I was shocked, so surprised even getting the facility bill, which is something I never heard of. So after all, $450 for a visit without useful advice from the doctor. I didn't feel I would ever visit this doctor and UCI facility again.

Dr. Bhandarkar was my second opinion doctor who took care of me after a botched first sinus surgery. I was left with a complete blockage in my sinus and a deviated septum POST first surgery. He listened to me, gave me feedback, and corrected my sinus and nose better than I could have asked for. He is thorough, kind, and patient. I wouldn't recommend anyone else for this job if you need it!

“Trust your Doctors and listen to them”, yes that’s what my Mom told me and I truly believe it always the RIGHT thing to do. I’m 35, a mother of 6 months old baby, fought out I have nasal cancer late stage and facing a complicated surgery which may remove my nose , my right eye. I was terrified, but then I met Dr. Naveen Bhardankar , God sent him to me, seriously. He was so patience, caring and a wonderful surgeon. When I had my surgery, instead of remove my right eye, he tried hard to save it for me. And yes, he did it. The first thing I realize after the surgery was: I still had my eye. Thanks to him. He removed all the tumor and saved my eye also. Not just my eye, he saved my life. I really really appreciate and thankful all my life for what he did.
